A gorgeous 4 season log home set in a quiet bay, located on a large pristine lake with public boat launch at one of the 2 marinas – it offers all the cottage experiences adventurers seek.

Whether it is a quiet getaway, a boating, skiing, snowmobiling or fishing adventure you seek, Kawagama Shoreline offers it all. Dock your boat on our aluminum dock for the duration of your stay – enjoy an evening fire overlooking the lake, your morning drink on the 2^nd deck by the water counting the loons. With 200 ft of private shoreline, you can swim off the dock or do a gradual walk in.

A spacious 2300 sq ft home with a fireplace in the master bedroom suite you can enjoy a crisp fire while overlooking the lake from bed. There are 3 additional bedrooms, 1 queen, 2 twins and a bunk bed. The expansive living room has a fireplace for those chilly nights and a box of board games to enjoy with your family and friends. A dedicated sunroom to gather the rays up on those days you want to chill and do a puzzle – or if you have to do some work – fire up the woodstove on the chilly days while you work seamlessly with our Starlink internet service.

Get ready to cook in the large kitchen with a drink bar that comes with every option you can think of to brew a hot cup of coffee, or a hot chocolate for your fireside smores. A propane BBQ grill to entice your friends and family to help with the dinner is also available.

The cottage is on a quiet private road, that is only a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of Dorset to grab your needs – LCBO, Robinsons & restaurants.

I just wanted to let you know how much our family enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, Kawagama Shoreline didn't disappoint!

The roadway leading in was a beautiful, picturesque drive and we were very grateful it was so well maintained during our stay with a LARGE amount of snow. Even with the extreme amount of snow, there was still ample room for parking.

The cottage was bright, welcoming, clean and cozy. Our group loved how remote it felt while only being a 12 minute drive from downtown Dorset. It was equipped with everything we needed and my brother in law was especially greatful for the firestarter pucks that were very handy when lighting the fireplace.

As our host, we especially appreciated how responsive you were and accommodating in our request to extend for an extra night. The kids (young and older haha) enjoyed sledding down the hill to the lake, fort building in the large snow bank and walking down the roadway to explore a bit. We already said if we could, we'd love to book for the next family day weekend if we could do direct again!

Hi, the place was great. There was a lot of room in the driveway. We were able to fit our 3 trucks and two trailers with no issues. The only thing that I can recommend that would be nice for a winter rental is more hooks or somewhere for drying out snow gear but other than that, the place was great. Great accommodations for snowmobiling. Thanks for everything!

This place is incredible. It is a great getaway for anyone who wants to relax, far from any stress and reconnecting with nature. The place is absolutely charming, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the entire cottage is well equipped with great appliances and tools to cook! As it is winter right now, we did not have access to the lakeshore and the terrace, but I could tell it looks fantastic. Leah was extremely responsive and accommodating, and our check-in and out was super easy and flexible which we appreciated so much. We will definitely be back!!

Terms and Conditions

In the high season months between Victoria Day weekend and Labour Day weekend, we require a minimum 4 nights booked. During the low season months we have a 2 night minimum, unless it is a holiday scheduled weekend. A security deposit of $500 will be collected with the final balance and will be returned within 3 to 7 business days provided the following provisions are met:

No damage is done to the property or its furnishings.
There are no items missing from the property.
There are no violations of this agreement. Guests will be emailed an invoice with all your rental details.

Payment of the Booking deposit will secure your booking.

E-Transfer and Credit Cards accepted.

House Rules

This property always has an absolute maximum capacity of 8 people. There are no events or parties allowed. This amount is the comfortable capacity of both the well and septic systems. Please do not run the water excessively.

There are NO PETS allowed on the property.

There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere in the house, on either deck, or within thirty feet of a structure. You can smoke further down the driveway or on the road, and please do not leave butts on the ground.

Please leave any wet shoes and boots at the door.
